The Data Governance Committee continues to make progress on internal policies to facilitate data use while ensuring data access and protecting the use of sensitive data. Policies are developed by the Data Governance Committee and proposed to the Technology Leadership Council via the formal City IT policy approval process. They include:

- Personally Identifiable Information Standards
- Data Ownership & Third-Party Data Access Standard
- Data Use and Access
- Generative AI Standards
- Privacy Policy
- Algorithms Policy
- Data Quality and Disaggregation
During 2025 the Data Governance Committee expects to solicit input from the CDJC on its Privacy, Algorithms and Data Quality and Disaggregation policies currently in development.
